Out one Door

2013-0822-Sam-Last-Day-Daycare

Today was Sam’s last day of daycare.  I am confident in saying it was more traumatic for me than it was for him. We have been amazingly lucky to have wonderful daycare providers who have invited my kids into their home and their hearts.  They have loved and nurtured both my boys and given them a safe place to grow from the babies they were carried in as to the kids they will walk out as. They threw Sam a wonderful party today – complete with his favorite lunch (Tania’s homemade rice and beans) and cupcakes and took picture after … Read more

Clickin Moms Blog Circle – Through Glass

It’s blog circle time again!  This month we were challenged to shoot through glass.  I tried a couple of different concepts but really wanted to capture the boys getting ready for bed and some night time snuggles.  I was finally able to set up the images tonight. At this rate, by the time Kindergarten hits, these kids will have better electronics than me!

Our Long Weekend In

While that much time cooped up in the house tends to make us all a little cranky, I was really looking forward to just locking myself up with the family.  We are finally getting to a point where weekends don’t feel like ALL work.   As the … Read more

Just a Little Every Day Magic

Last night we took the boys to dinner and a movie at a local pizzeria. We had a day full of stress and just needed to unwind with our two favorite toddlers. It was raining pretty good when we got to the restaurant. By the time we left it was snowing.  Not just snowing but big, huge whopper snow flakes snowing. Normally I would grab the nearest kid and rush them into the car.  Keep warm.  Keep dry.  And I started to do just that but as I stepped outside holding Will he started laughing at the snow.  His laugh … Read more
