Clickin Moms Blog Circle – Close Up Portraiture

I am part of a really fun project with thirteen other talented and wonderful women.  We met on Clickin Moms and are participating in a 2013 blog circle.  Every month we each will post about a given theme and link to each other.  I look forward to getting to know each of these women a little better over the course of this year and I hope you’ll join me by clicking through our blog circle.  The talent in this group of women is amazing.  You will be blown away!

This month’s theme is close up portraiture.

I just adored this theme.  The thing I have loved most about starting this journey in photography has been capturing the little things about Sam and Will that make them so very them and that I don’t want to forget.  This theme challenged me to get right up in their faces.

I swear my kids have the greatest eyelashes! 2013 0120 Playroom-24-Edit2013 0120 Playroom-5-EditDinner time was a great time to get up close with the boys.  Nothing get’s between them and their food and I knew I’d get at least 10 minutes of them sitting in the same place.

I love these photos and am so glad that I had this challenge which pushed me to take them.  I just know that I will look back on them when the boys are bigger and ache for their tiny features and sweet moments.

Hop on over to Ashley’s blog to see how she used this month’s theme!
