My Perfect Fit

Oh, he’s probably going to kill me for writing this, because that’s just the kind of guy he is.

Never seeking attention.  A little bit quiet.  Happy behind the scenes.

He’s the rock in my life.  My slow and steady.  I’m up and down and all around and he’s always right there ready to pull me out of the depths, catch me when I fall and keep me grounded.

It’s funny how opposite we are in many ways but I think he was made for me.  He’s my counterbalance.  My warm place to rest after the World is a little too rough.  My confidant, life adviser and best friend.  He’s weathered too many storms with me but if there are storms to be weathered there isn’t a person I would rather wait them out with.

He’s held my heart for years but watching him become a dad has shown me the depths of true love.  He’s patient (most the time), encouraging, and tender.  The boys have brought out a playful side in him that makes me melt.  He can make them giggle like no one else and while most kids cling to their mom’s I’m pretty sure Will prefers him.

He’s not an over the top, scream it from the roof tops kind of a guy.  He’s a show it in a million tiny ways every single day kind of a guy.  And for this up and down and all around girl, he’s a perfect fit!
