Four! The many faces of Sam

Dear Sam, Do you know you make my heart soar? Do you know you can make me laugh even when I’m in my worst mood? Do you know that your daddy and I exchange smiles when you are so excited you can barely find the words to tell us your story? Do you know that the day you burst into my life you taught me the true meaning of Thanksgiving and gratitude and unconditional love? Do you know that you saved me from grief? fall and will-4

A certain family member (Uncle Joe Joe) refuses to get FB so he’s been begging me to start posting more pictures of the boys.  I’m going to try to be better at that for anyone who is checking in! Out one Door

Today was Sam’s last day of daycare.  I am confident in saying it was more traumatic for me than it was for him. The boys are sick today so I’ve had some time to catch up on tasks and do some editing of our family pictures.  These are from an evening when traffic was light so we all … Read more

Clickin Mom's Blog Circle – Shallow Depth of Field

Chasing two toddlers around, I very rarely have a chance to position them so that distractions are eliminated, opting to capture them in the natural (cluttered) environment.  I use shallow depth of field to isolate them from the background A LOT! Here are a couple of my favorite images where I … Read more
